Trey's Surprise Visit

 Let me tell you about my surprise!!  Justin, my brother in law told Chris and I in Florida when we were on vacation that we needed to come to their house on July 12th for a surprise for Natalie for their anniversary.  I had totally forgotten about it until Natalie called me on the 11th and asked, "Do you know about a surprise for me from Justin?"  Of course I lied and said no.  After I got off the phone I went to find Chris and I said, "I have to go to Nat and Justin's tomorrow after church.  You and the girls can stay here, but I think he has some surprise in store for Natalie."  Well, Chris's eyes get HUGE and he says, "Is tomorrow the 12th??"  I said, yes it is.  He says, We have to go.  Pack the kids stuff and after church we will go to their house.  Chris was acting kind of funny about the surprise and he wouldn't tell me.  Well, after church we go to Nat's house and I see Sherri and Michael's car and get excited.  Well I go in and Trey and his girlfriend Rosalyn have flown in by surprise from California!!!  No one knew except Trey, Michael, Justin, and Chris.  It was an awesome surprise!!  We haven't seen Trey in 2 years and we had never gotten to meet Rosalyn yet.

Blackberry time in Kentucky!!

 Oh how I love me some July because of Blackberry Season!!!  I love me some blackberries.  For the last 3 years I take Addie to Elkton, KY and we pick tame blackberries from an old client of mine at the Animal Hospital.  Jena always goes with us.  This is such a special remembrance of my Granny Naron who loved her some wild blackberries and made the best blackberry jam that I have ever eaten!!!  I love it love it love it!!

It was so much fun to get to take Claire on her first blackberry pickin' trip.  Of course she didn't pick any but she was a trooper while we picked.

I was so proud of Addie!!  Elsie Adeline picked 5 pounds of blackberries!!  Her great grandmother Elsie would be soo proud!!  

Happy 1st Birthday Baby Claire

Claire turned 1 on July 3rd!!  I can hardly believe it.  I worked Friday so we decided to postpone her gathering until Saturday night.  Well, after all the Tornado scare, which we watched from our front door by the way, and after we ate our big steak dinner Claire was ready for the bed and not interested in having cake.  So, we had her cake eating celebration yesterday on Sunday afternoon.  She had the best time digging in to her cake, with help from her big sister Addie.

 We had a great 4th.  We stayed home at our new house and had Chris's family over for steaks from JR's yum yum and lots of sides!!  We were hoping that Claire would make it for the fireworks, but it didn't happen.  Clay fed her around 8:30 and Nanny put her to bed.

 

Our very own fireworks!  For those of you that live in this area it was pouring down rain when we got to shoot off fireworks and the grand finale didn't get to happen because the fuse was too wet!!!  Addie, Clay, and Lacy still thought it was a great time!!  In between the cooking, playing, and running to the basement for the tornado watches!!  You got to love ya some Tennessee!!!

 Addie turned 4 on June 8th while we were at the beach so:  We had her a Hannah Montana Birthday party and here is Uncle Justin sporting the Hannah microphone, with icing on his mic no doubt!!!!

So the kids had a blast at the pool!!!  Of course Claire preferred it because their was no sand!!  We took Nat, Justin and Easton's photos at the beach.  I think they turned out good of them.  

We have finally moved!!! And taken a vacation!!!

 

Ohh laa laa, I know you all want me to take your kids photos with my new cool special effects I can add to my pics in one single click with my new awesome mac!!!!!  Just kidding, this was a photo Chris and I played around with to get that "Days of our Lives" effect!!  Watch out David Barbee....

When Chris and I took our honeymoon in Aruba we put our hands in the sand and took a picture of our hands touching the sand with our wedding bands on.  Well, I have that picture framed next to my computer.  3 years ago when we went to the beach with Addie Chris said, "Hey we have to take a picture of our hands in the sand with our new addition."  I didn't know what he was talking about until he reminded me that we did it on our honeymoon.  Well, this year we took our picture with our newest and last addition, Claire.  So these are our 4 hands in the sand.  (Claire's sort of had to be forced.)



Wow,

Well we have moved to Stewart County!!  We moved into our new home, that you all have suffered miserably with me over the last 19 months b/c that is all I have talked/whined about.  Well, I absolutely love it and the girls do too.  Daddy is in heaven.  He says that he is finally home.  It is so good to see Chris out in the back doing his farm duties.  We have been so blessed to have FINALLY moved in.  Yes, going from 1 toilet to 4 was not smart thinking as far as cleaning them goes, but I get to go anytime I need too!!  I haven't uploaded any pics yet of the house b/c I just took some yesterday and I finally have gotten a new computer!!!!!!  I love me a mac now.  It is so very different but I am willing to learn and the photo part of the iphoto is awesome!!!!!  

So, I do have to share pictures of our summer vacation that we took 2 and 1/2 weeks ago with Mom, Nat, Justin and Easton.  We went to Navarre Beach in FL.  Most people say where is that?  It is in between Pensacola beach and Ft. Walton.  We had a great time and Addie adored the pool and liked to build sand castles with her Daddy.
