Where oh where have I been?

I'm back!

I can't believe it has been almost 2 years since I have entered an entry in my blog!  I don't even recognize the new update.  It's been too long!!
I hope that I still remember how to post pictures.  Looking at the last post was of Addie two years ago at her dance recital with no front two teeth!  I love those pics and it also reminds me of how fast life happens.  Addie now has two front teeth and Claire is taking dance also.
I hope to keep up with this blog as my own journal/diary and hope I don't offend anyone with any of my posts, but its for me so I shouldn't care I guess.  So here goes!
The girls just finished up with Spring Break this week.  I took them to Franklin for two days and we spent the night with Nat, Justin, and Easton Thursday night.  Claire and Addie were so excited to have a sleepover with their cousin Easton.  I think about 10:45pm Claire came to my bed because E was talking she said.  Nat and I knew that wouldn't last too long.
We went to see my Dad's new condo that he bought last summer in Franklin.  I had never been over there so the girls and I went and they thought the coolest thing was that Grandpa had an elevator in his home.  I guess that is pretty cool, a little luxury for whoever wants to go to all 3 floors quickly.
Daddy didn't look so good on Thursday.  I pray for him every day.  I don't know what else to do.  I want so badly for him to know the Lord and my prayer is for him to begin a prayer life  and have a relationship with our Savior!  Big prayer needs for him right now is with his diabetes, blood pressure, depression, and whatever else he is addicted to.  I have never seen a man that has so much get up and go, just let it all go so quickly.  I know that Satan is winning against him right now and I pray that Daddy can fight the demons off if he is willing.
On a brighter note, Addie is doing very well this year in 2nd grade.  Her teacher is Pam Lidyard and Addie has made straight A's twice this year.  This next week she will have an awards ceremony where she will receive her AM medal and an award for making straight A's.
Claire started preK last November at North Stewart.  There was an opening and she has absolutely loved going.  She has made so many friends and she will begin kindergarden this Fall.  I am hesitate about it because she has a July birthday, but we are going to give it a go and see how she does.  She went to the kindergarden registration and she is so excited to start.
Next week I will turn 39 and I can't believe I only have 1 more year in my 30's :-(  I don't think I am ready to grow up and get older and more wrinkly!!
Well, off to cook supper on a Saturday night, not real excited to but Chris is calling!
