Visit with Nana

With Chris in Kansas the girls and I decided to go stay with Nana Monday night and on Tuesday we went to Cool Springs mall and Nana bought Addie and Claire new shoes as part of their Christmas. Claire was actually wearing a whole size too small!! The girl is now in a 7.

Christmas is Here

The girls and I decorated the new house for the first time on Saturday when I got off of work. I have come to the realization that Chris is not into the putting up of the tree like my dad always was. Oh, the good old childhood I had :) . It was so much fun to watch Addie see all the Christmas things that have been tucked away in boxes. She was so excited to see her ornaments that she has made from years past.

It was a little bit more interesting decorating with little Claire walking around the tree and moving the ornaments that Addie and I had just put up. My sweet little goose!! I have started them out young as decorators.

Thanksgiving

We went to my Aunt Doris and Uncle Alfred's house in Smyrna. The girls had a good time and it was really good to see my mom's family. I typically only get to see them once or twice a year now and it is always around the holidays. Claire and Addie are with my first cousin Michelle's kids Allie and Laurel. My how they have grown!!!
Allie is a freshman and Laurel is a junior at Friendship Christian.

Friends and Crossbows

Kristin, Richard, Hunter, and Grace came for a visit to the new house. We had the best time catching up, busting up fights between Addie and Grace (Addie is still working on the word sharing), eating, and the guys went deer hunting. I miss them soo much and wish that we lived closer, but it is such a treat when we are together.

So before I know it I am taking a picture of Addie getting ready to shoot the crossbow. What I didn't get a picture of was what happened right after she pulled the trigger!!! She grabs her eye and is screaming b/c the scope on the crossbow came back and hit her in the eyebrow and busted the skin open!!! Needless to say she will NEVER hold another crossbow as long as I live and her daddy was truly sorry.

The gang!! Can't believe the Wilhelm/Lewis families could produce such a crew, right?

My Laundry load

Some days it is no fun to do laundry but this particular day it was!! Addie was so proud of herself that she lifted Claire into the basket by herself!
