Where have I been?

Okay so no picture tonight, but I had to blog to those of you that keep up with this. I can't believe I haven't uploaded any pictures in a while, but I am taking them. This week has been dedicated to packing up the rest of the house in boxes and taking what I can down to the new house. I put all of my fall/winter "skinny" clothes in the top of my closet today and there is still tons of room!! I am not going to know what to do with myself by being able to have all my clothes hung and in clear view!!! Maybe I won't buy ANOTHER pair of black pants that I found many of today while unpacking clothes from the attic!!!
So, the builder still has to finish my cabinets, ask me at this point if I care??? I may be the only person that will just be thankful to move in at this point and don't care if there aren't any doors to my cabinets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shouldn't a normal person be suing at this point?????? Anyway, we are moving in one week from today!!!!!!!!!! I can't even believe that the day will finally be here.
We have had so much going on since last Thursday afternoon when Chris got kicked by a calf in the jaw and we thought it was broke. However, their was God watching out for him thank you Jesus and he only slightly displaced his TMJ joint and he is not going to have to have surgery and most importantly it didn't kick him in the head.
Friday Linda and Tim adopted sweet baby Elly officially at the courts and we went as a family and Claire decided to cry out right as it all was going down, of course I was red red red and Chris took her out of the courtroom as fast as we could as the judge said, "Well there is a future lawyer." We are so excited and thankful for them!!!
Friday at 2pm Lynn, my sister-in-law graduated with her masters from Austin Peay in education. We are so proud of her. She has two young children and I know that the whole family is relieved that she is done!!
Friday afternoon we also found out that we have sold our house on West Park Drive and we are suppossed to close on June 1st. Pray that that all goes thru. We found out yesterday that the couple buying the home are having to get a FHA loan, so lots more paper work, hoops to jump thru for us.
Today I took 3 loads of boxes up to the new house, changed our mailing address at the post office, and am packing up more boxes this evening!!! So exciting for us

God bless you all and hopefully I will have pictures up soon!!

  1. I hope the rest of the house stuff goes smoothly! I understand how those things go. We just bought a new home and are currently renting out the old house now as well.
